Enrollment Deposit

Once you have decided to enroll at Stevenson, you must let us know and reserve your space in the fall class by completing the and submitting your $300 enrollment deposit. You should submit your Enrollment Intent Form by May 1.

Accepted Students’ Day

This spring we will be hosting 3 Accepted Students’ Days. These events are a great opportunity to learn more about your major program, get familiar with on-campus resources, and meet your fellow Mustangs! Registration will be available soon.

Accepted Students’ Dinners

Our Admissions counselors will be traveling to you to host Accepted Students’ Dinners this spring! These dinners are a fantastic opportunity to meet other future Mustangs and chat with your admissions counselor. Registration for Accepted Students’ Dinners will be available in the new year.

Student Health Profile

Stevenson’s Student Health Profile must be completed by all new, full-time students. The profile is completed online through the Wellness Center Secure . Students who deposit by May 1 will have access to this portal in late May after receiving their SU single sign-on account (one log-in and password for a variety of Stevenson services). In addition to the completed health profile, all full-time students – whether residential or commuter – are required to be immunized against MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) as well as Varicella (chickenpox) according to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). If immunization records are not available, students will be asked to show proof of immunity through Titer Test (blood work) results. All full-time students planning to live on-campus are also required to be immunized against Meningococcal disease.

¶ºÄÌÊÓƵ highly recommends the COVID vaccine for all new students. For more information, visit the Wellness Center’s page.

There are three parts to the profile that must be completed online between late May and June 1 for fall entrance, after you have received an email with information about creating your Stevenson single sign-on account. Failure to complete the Student Health Profile by June 1 may result in delays to students moving onto campus and future class registration.

Financial Aid Information

¶ºÄÌÊÓƵing for Financial Aid

To be considered for need-based financial aid, you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available online at . The 2025-2026 FAFSA will be available December 1. Stevenson’s priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA is March 1.

You will need a Federal Student Aid ID, if you don’t already have one, to complete and sign your FAFSA electronically. If you need to get a FSA ID, you may do so at . Parents should also have a FSA ID if you meet the dependent student definition as described on the FAFSA. Learn more

Financial Aid Appeal

We know that on occasion our financial aid awards do not align with a student or family’s expectations related to the cost of attendance. When expectations are not met, we invite students and families to follow the directions below to request to appeal their financial aid award. If a student or family’s finances have been impacted due to circumstances related to COVID-19, they are welcome to submit an appeal with that information.

Placement Testing

All incoming students are required to complete the ALEKS PPL Math Placement Assessment. Testing can be completed remotely. Deposited students will receive information regarding math placement via email in May. Learn More

Academic Orientation and Course Registration

All new students are required to complete an academic orientation prior to course registration for the upcoming semester. After May 1, and after completing their required academic orientation, students will work with the Center for Student Success to complete course registration and math placement assessment. Changing your Major

Before registering for classes, please call your admissions counselor to discuss changing your major. Requests to change majors will be automatically granted except in the cases of Nursing and Biomedical Engineering. The admissions committee must re-review your application to determine if you are eligible for Nursing or Biomedical Engineering. You do not need to speak with an academic advisor to change your major until after registering for fall classes.

AP/IB Credit Policy

Specialty Scholarship Application Deadline
Students wishing to apply for the Service and Leadership Scholars Programs, Visual Arts Scholarship, Theatre and Media Performance Scholarship, Mock Trial Scholarship, and the School of the Sciences Scholarship must submit their respective applications by January 1

You must submit the FAFSA if you wish to be considered for need-based financial aid.

Founders’ Scholarship Interview Deadline
Complete a campus visit and scholarship interview to be considered for our Founders’ Scholarship.

Marching Band, Color Guard, and Dance Line Scholarship Application Deadline
Students interested in this scholarship must submit a by April 1. Accepted students who have applied will be contacted regarding next steps.

eSports Scholarship Application Deadline
Students interested in the eSports Scholarship must submit a and interview with eSports Coordinator Jordan Sheets by April 1.

Enrollment Intent Form Due
Submit your $300 deposit along with your Enrollment Intent Form by May 1 to secure your place in the freshman class and housing, if applicable.

June 1, 2025
Required Student Health Profile Due
Please allow 2-4 weeks for completion of the form as immunization records from your physician will need to be submitted to the Wellness Center. Forms will be available in late Spring.

July 1, 2025

Roommate Request Due
Available for students who know with whom they would like to live may submit a roommate request in late Spring. Please see the Residence Life FAQ for request submission guidelines.

First-Year Residential Profile
All resident students must complete a First-Year Residential Profile whether or not you are requesting a specific roommate. The survey will be available later in the Spring and you’ll need your SU Single Sign-on login to access the page. You’ll receive instructions via email in late Spring to activate your SU Single Sign-On account.

Final Official High School Transcript Due
You must have an official copy of your final high school transcript (indicating graduation) to the Admissions Office. Please also remember to submit AP/IB test scores and college transcripts, if applicable.

Transfer Student Academic Orientation, Course Registration, and Advising

All new students are required to complete an online academic orientation prior to course registration for the upcoming semester. After May 1, and after completing their required online academic orientation, students will work with the Office of Student Success to complete course registration and the math placement assessment. Placement Testing

Some transfer students need to take a math placement assessment before registering for classes. Stevenson utilizes the ALEKS PPL system for math placement. Learn More

Math placement testing is required for any new student who has not received SU transfer credit for a credit-bearing math course. Note: Students who plan to major in the sciences and have math transfer credit should still consider completing the math placement test if that transfer credit isn’t for pre-calculus or above.

Enrollment Deposit

Important Dates

Final Official College Transcript Due: Please submit your final official college transcript(s) with spring grades ASAP.

Enrollment Deposit & Housing Reservation

Once you have decided to enroll at Stevenson, please submit your  and $300 deposit. Stevenson accepts payment via check, money order, or credit card (submit payment online). Checks and money orders should be made payable to ¶ºÄÌÊÓƵ. Funds from financial aid may not be applied to your enrollment deposit. For the fall semester, the enrollment deposit is non-refundable after May 1, and for the spring semester, the enrollment deposit is non-refundable after December 1. The enrollment deposit will be applied to your tuition bill for the respective semester. If you intend to live on-campus, select the Resident Student option on the enrollment intent form. Housing is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

A note regarding Financial Aid: If you have applied for financial aid and have not received your offer letter as of the deposit deadline, you may request an extension until you have been notified of your financial aid award. This is uncommon and typically only affects students who apply late for financial aid. Contact your Admissions counselor at 410-486-7001 to request an extension or for any other questions.

Each year ¶ºÄÌÊÓƵ receives thousands of applications for admission into our freshman class. Stevenson employs a selective admission process whereby we consider a student’s academic transcript including coursework and grades, writing ability, extracurricular and community activities, and letters of recommendation.
